Some of you may have noticed that I've not posted in a while. I was up in my home town for a funeral and then some R&R after. The last of that, my Mothers, generation was my uncle who was really good to myself and my brothers after we lost our fathers. He was pretty much one of a kind. One of my favorite memories was when he would take us along on adventures be it fishing or other activities.
I remember the first time he ask if we could help him wash his truck. Now most of you would picture some buckets of water and a hose in the driveway and you would be very wrong. He had this spot in the river that worked quite well, he would just drive into the river and we would wash the truck right there.....
Anyway we all got to share some stories after the grave side service, and a few other out of town cousins showed up so it was pretty upbeat. He hadn't been aware of who was who for a lot of years now so the last talk I had with him was I think back in 2006 or so when he was still fine. In his final days he would sit on a chair and drive his truck(long time truck driver) and speak of having to park the trailer. On his last day his son told him that he would park the trailer for him as he went off to bed. That night he passed.
So I'm back and will post some interesting photos and give some links to some new videos I've published and try and catch up on some of what has been happening here the last couple of weeks.

My condolences, Ed. Sounds like he was a great uncle to have had. I'm sure you cherish those memories.
