Mark 7 Maintenance Instructions

Hello,

Brand new to the forum. Just purchased 2nd hand Mark 7 with no instructions or manual.

Search website and forum for Mark 7 Maintenance Instructions but all I can find are directions for the Mark V. Can anyone help with the maintenance for just the Mark 7, what do I take apart on the Power Pro head stock and where should I oil?

What do you clean and protect the tables with? Johnsons Paste Wax?

The machine is very clean and barely used, but I like to keep my gear running clean and its getting regular use now.

Thanks
Tom

There is nothing to oil in the Power Pro head stock. It is basically maintenance free. Tables and way tubes should be periodically waxed with Johnson's paste wax. Basically, other than the head stock the MK V maintenance procedures apply.

Replies above pertain to a Mark 7.

Perchance did you acquire a Mark VII. Yes it is confusing since a Mark VII also has a "Mark 7" badge.

So is there a power switch near the rear, middle of the headstock or are there three pushbuttons(for/off/rev)?

The OP did say "Power Pro" head stock.

So thank you all very much! Yes OP did suggest Power Pro Mark 7. Glad to hear its maintenance free, very good news. Will wax as needed, already ordered from Amazon! Much appreciate the responses!
