Oneway Wolverine Sharpening System

Post by jsburger »

Peachtree has a Wolverine sharpening system on sale. Is this system complete and is it a good price? From what I have seen over the years this is a very good system. I already have a new Rikon 1HP grinder and an 80 and 220 grit CBN wheels.

It is on sale untol 22 Feb.

I also just purchased a RiKon grinder with CBN wheels last month, but with 180 and 600 grits, I went the Tormek route for jigs though.

I mostly just sharpen chisels and plane irons.

Good price and about as complete as you can get. They do make a skew sharpening jig for it. Some like some don’t. It works for me on a flat skew with a straight not rounded cutting edge.

That is a really good price. I already have the Wolverine system with the 1/2 HP Rikon grinder. I almost am thinking about getting that sale price to set up a second sharpening station. If I were you I would not hesitate at all. I wish I could get my money back from buying sharpening guides over the last few years that didn't live up to expectations. If you go with the Wolverine you will be set for life. :D
