Introducing 10er # 86778

Post by RAnst4038 »

This is when I had enough of struggling with Sears circ mounted on Work Horse.

So I had choice of these 2 $100 on Craigs List.

You must find the right V-belt & angle of dangle to get it off top of Delta planer where you assembled it Weed Hopper.

Got a whole 3 inches on my 1st rip before hitting a sawed off nail I missed & destroying new $10 blade. The 1/2" dado with blades that came with 10er went better.

So which chicken will be the first to try out there new landing?

Fanny (The extra large layer)
Red (Average meat bird)
Sonia (The Bull Dyke)

Welcome,
In case you did not get an Owners Manual with it you can find on here on the forum. Check under the Maintenance and Repair section for Shopsmith Large Format Drawings, Illustrations and More by Everett Davis. This will be one of the first three topics. In it you will find a wealth of information on the Shopsmith tools. Some are directly linked there and others are on “My Google Drive” with documents too large to be directly linked. Everett has become the Shopsmith historian by saving and restoring manuals and other documents. On his Google Drive under 10E & 10ER Magna you will find a restored version of the Model 10ER Manual that is the correct version for your Shopsmith. If you have any questions feel free to ask them here.

Again, welcome to the Forum and enjoy your Shopsmith.
