Mark V Model 500 Jointer Cutter guard

I recently puchased an abused Mark V Model 500 (I believe- manufactured 1982). I want to resurface the jointer in-feed and out-feed tables but cannot remove the cutter guard. The parts diagram shows a nut 3/8-16 nut on a "table mount stud" 502884 but I have a bolt there and cannot remove it, nor can I remove the "60-D Knob", and that does not resemble the round knob on my jointer. I presume I have the wrong parts diagram, but still am flummoxed and don't want to break anything.

How about a picture of 'yours'.

P.S. Include a view of the underside where that 'bolt' passes through the infeed table.

This is a picture of mine, disassembled. The hex shaft just sits in a hex hole in the bed.
