If you've got a child/grandchild/relative/friend in Cub Scouts, Webelos or Boy Scouts this will be a handy project. This is a handy camping picnic table that assembles in a minute (no tools required) and is perfect for the scouting group. All the scouting troops I was associated with had a trailer to store/haul camping supplies (tents, patrol cook boxes, etc) and these tables made a welcome addition to the camping equipment. They assemble/disassemble in seconds and the pieces can be stacked in the trailer taking up minimal space, and if you're careful with your cutting, any set of pieces will assemble a table, the parts should be interchangeable. One of the neatest features is, the entire table is made out of ONE sheet of plywood! These plans have been around the scouting community for some time. Not allot of the cutting can be accomplished on the ShopSmith, a Saber saw would be greatly beneficial here, but it's a unique set of plans so I thought I'd share them.
The fully dimensioned plans are a 6 page, 5.8Mb PDF file and can be downloaded from HERE if you wish.

Black Powder Shooter (love the smell of burning sulfur).
These are great tables! Very handy for campouts and take up little space to store. My son's (who is an Eagle by the way) Boy Scout Troop has had two of them for years.

Agreed Ryan, they're not designed for a full-sized adult, but for their designed application, they are great... and they sure make efficient use of a sheet of plywood.

They are also handy for use as outdoor gardenwork tables, for garage/yard sales, and many other uses. Also, they will support full-sized adults since we scout volunteers spent many a camp night playing euchre!
