Are any of SS's 12" Disc Sanders Hook and Loop or are they all adhesive?

So there isn't an actual disc you have to buy the disk and then buy the conversion kit? Correct?

What you didn't ask was if they are a good idea for your shop. I'm guessing this is more then likely a question that if not you then others have on their minds.

The answer is? As almost always, it depends.

I have one and it is nice to swap papers on, and if you want or don't mind soft corners. They are not for sharpening. They are not for trying to take off a lot in a singe pass. And yes you can wreck them if you get too carried away forcing the material into them. While I have not had that issue it is purely that I know better.

I have a whole stack of sanding disks. One for each grit and one for sharpening and I still have a older 500 length one. I have two of the conical disks one for each of the grits I use.

The Velcro system is not a substitute for but only perhaps an addition to a regular sanding disk or 3 or 4. I would not want it as my only disk sander.

So when it comes to sanding discs what does PSA stand for?

From the google:
sanding discs are designed with PSA (pressure sensitive adhesive) backing for easy, secure attachment
