In the Shopsmith catalogs, when describing the different Power Stand units(jointer, belt sander, jig saw) it says"with appropriate tool and motor pulleys".
I have a 1/2 hp motor rated at 1725 rpm.It is currently set for the belt sander. It has a 3 pulley (3 diameters) on the motor.
I am considering changing the tool, replacing the sander with the jointer.
Does anyone know what size pulleys to use for the various applications utilizing the Power Stand (tool and motor).
My shopsmith is a "Greenie" manufactured in 1956 and the add on tools mentioned above were from 1958-1960 manufacturing period.

bobwilley,
there is a chart and I will try to post it here. It is Shopsmith publication number 505862. I received my copy when I ordered a pulley from Shopsmith.
