Shopsmith sells them. ;)

Link to the service parts page. https://www.shopsmith.com/service/headstock/index.htm

look up the parts you want on the Exploded Parts Diagram then go to the Parts List to order.

They also show up regularly on eBay. Personally, I would be cautious about a used speed control. Any visible damage or wear to any of the common failure areas and I would steer clear.

Repair of your speed control and/or just replacing the quadrant (aka pork chop) is also a possibility, depending on the nature of the problem. See the Bill Mayo improvement document in this thread: https://www.shopsmith.com/ss_forum/main ... 16113.html (Also applicable to a new assembly IMO.)

Members are discouraged from active buy/sell on the forum but can contact you via PM.

On the Shopsmith service parts page, under Products above, there is a link to the 17 most frequently ordered parts. The Speed Control Assembly P/N 504198, the Quadrant Assembly (aka Pork Chop) P/N 504221 and the Speed Control Handle P/N 504229 are three of them. Buying used ones can be risky with an unknown condition and better to buy new ones for these parts/assemblies.
