I have a 54” tv on the two original legs it came with and it stands about 3” from bottom of tv to shelf it’s on. I would like to raise it 4 1/2” so that it is centered in bookcase. Any ideas on individual lifts for under each leg? Suggestions would be appreciated. My better half would prefer that they would not be too obtrusive. HELP!

If you don't have a home theater system for sound, I would recommend making a long rectangular box that fits under the TV. The benefit of this is you could insert a soundbar in the front face of this riser box. Since it is going inside of a bookcase, you could make the riser box match the wood & color of the bookcase so it will more easily blend in with its surroundings. See pic below for one example of a soundbar that should be able to fit inside of the riser box. The article linked below explains the rationale for adding a soundbar to a flat screen TV.

Could you wall mount it to the back of the bookcase? That would leave it without a leg to stand on.

Thanks, I thought of both but Bride would prefer some kind of lift under each leg instead of a long bar or mounting to back panel. If I do I have to make sure it’s sound.

It might be helpful to post a picture of what the legs look like on the TV so that we can provide better suggestions for possible risers. Can you post a pic of it? Also, assume the goal is as small as possible to minimize appearance, is that correct?

Took me a while too.
They slant out to the side at 45 deg, in the first picture one is below #91"s left elbow .

A simple solution would be some 2 x 6 's cut down to like 4-3/4" then four holes for the existing legs to set in that are 1/4" deep. Now so it doesn't tip over you need to connect both sides together, again the 2 x material. Something like this:
You can paint it some dull black or semi gloss black to hide it more. Perhaps rounding the front edges as shown or not.....
