Ouch! wasn't expecting $45. Know of anything aftermarket? I don't need it to last another 50 years. ;)

So use a M5 belt.

Maybe this will help with cam follower assembly.

Yes, that really helped a lot. I am not sure what I did wrong, but I flipped it over again following your directions and all is right in the world again. The follower is not binding on the side anymore, and I have the "skinny" side facing the increasing diameter, but I still seem to have to rotate the eccentric opposite what you recommend to not have it touch. I am going to get the new belts anyway. She deserves it. :D

Thanks again JPG.

Nope, no end play to speak of, no wobble, everything is tight. Duplicate pin holes?

Maybe different thread, but previous posts mentioned more than one pin hole.

I don't remember any alternate pin holes on my speed cam. I did have an alternate key way on the sheave which I thought was odd. It is all back together and operating really well, so I better not push my luck. I think I will try to find a new eccentric end nut and safety washer. The nut is not a very tight fit to the threads and I question if it is original. Maybe that is why the square nut was being used as well?

By M5 belt you mean the thinner version used by the Mark V that I read will work on the Mark VII, correct?

Thanks for the link. Interesting, I took a pic and can only see the one roll pin. I suppose it could have an alternate drilling under the plastic, but I'm not going to mess with that. I would likely crack it and create a new problem. ;)
