Which coupler is needed for a 1963 Goldie? The part indicated in the other thread says it is for 1985 and later models. Thanks.....BB
From the SS site. "The Coupler Kit is standard equipment with all MARK V's manufactured after April, 1985. "
SS 500(09/1980), DC3300, jointer, bandsaw, belt sander, Strip Sander, drum sanders,molder, dado, biscuit joiner, universal lathe tool rest, Oneway talon chuck, router bits & chucks and a De Walt 735 planer,a #5,#6, block planes. ALL in a 100 square foot shop.

Coupler For Accessories (spt)
Pn 503574 Is The Coupler Only. Mk V & Accessory "must" Have Hubs To Use.
Pn 555124 Is A "kit" Containing A{coupler}; B{hub For Mk V}; And, C{hub For Accessory(spt)}.
These Parts Are Interchangable With Similar Parts Of Previous Designs. Some Are Open On Both Ends, Some One End Only; Some Are Longer Than Others. Coupler Is Also Compatible With Power Station Spindle.
The Spt End Has 5 Grooves, The Mk V End Has 4 Grooves.
The "kit" Was Included With SS Mk V After April 1985 As Std Equipment.

What the others are trying to tell you, is there is only one power coupler; it will work on all Mark V's. It was knot included as standard equipment until 1985. When you buy a Mark V new, you do knot need the coupler, unless you also buy an SPT or two.
