I subscribed to this YouTube feed and have watched this guy build his mobile saw table/ workbench. Very ingenious! Today he did and overview which highlights feature and basically how he did things. Here is the YouTube link enjoy. https://youtu.be/E_uFfol9T5M

Thanks for posting this. Pretty slick setup. Lots of good ideas here. I'm wantin' some of those adjustable casters, but they look like they would be pretty expensive.Ed in Tampa wrote: Thu Dec 23, 2021 11:34 am I subscribed to this YouTube feed and have watched this guy build his mobile saw table/ workbench. I'm skeptical but the casters get pretty good reviews. Here are some similar ones: https://www.amazon.com/Caster-Barn-Retr ... 71&sr=8-20 The real test would be lifting something heavy especially after the caster has been in a typical shop environment for a while. I only saw him lower the system in the video, and my shop doesn't look like his.rogersk wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2021 10:55 am Thanks for posting this. Pretty slick setup. Lots of good ideas here. That is quite the work station!

Didn't know there were casters like that. They're exactly what I need right now. There are several choices on Amazon. I don't see any way to quickly raise and lower them to wheel more, it looks like you just turn the adjusting wheels until the leveling feet can't reach the ground anymore. This will be perfect for a new table saw platform since I don't expect to move it very often.DLB wrote: Fri Dec 24, 2021 11:22 am I'm skeptical but the casters get pretty good reviews. There are many space saving features shown in this video. Also some slick jigs and table mods.
I looked into the wheels and as I understand it you do not have to lift the table high just enough to get most of the weight on the lift and off the wheels.
I liked his sliding table for cross cuts.
