If you use rail squares you might have noticed that sometimes the square due to it weight tip something like this:
You can of course put some weight, like your hand or the saw to get it flat again:
Etsy and other places have a lot of ways of fixing this but they are in general not all that cheap. There are also various configurations for this from something that sets flat on the square thus limiting the tip to those that have a way of keeping the square level. The flat style has the advantage of being able to turn or slide out of the way if need be, the other style has to be removed.

The other style are ones that fit under a single screw and those that fit under both holes. And of course a choice of materials and being cut out or 3-d printed.

I have various scraps of plastic around so that is what I chose for this build. And as you can see which other options I went with:

As I use it more I may make a few changes or well not. This is a drawing that gives pretty much what I made:

At this point I think the hole spacing on the other TSO product the "Parallel Edge Guide Rail Square" is the same. I don't have one to check at this point. I do have the licensed "Festool 205229 Angle Stop FS-WA/90°" on order and expected in on the 20th so I can check that out then.

I can see making 2 more of these but I want to wait to see if it fits both places and to get some use under my belt before I do. I might try another material, like wood to see how that would work??

The Festool version isn't the pretty blue but costs less??

A little heads up here. The TSO version has an extra set of hole to allow it to mount to a MFT hinge. The festool version can be updated with information from TSO if that is something you want to use. I don't think I need that function but got the drawing from TSO anyway so if I change my mind I already have it.
