I don't know about availability, but there was a Shopsmith brand 510 version of what you are looking for similar to the 520 version shown earlier in the thread. Watching the used market may produce results.

It would be interesting to get feedback on these from more owners. I have the 520 version. So far the appeal of leveraging the 520 fence, which I like a lot, was better for me in the concept phase than in execution. We don't all have the same goals of a fence, and I haven't met mine yet. I have a design, in my head, for supporting both under and over table routing (two different 520 tables) but have not started on it yet.

Ok, then has anyone done their own router table mount for the SS 510 tube system? Iā€™d really like to find a way to use my router with the 510 miter gauge and/or the 510 fence.
I have a complete set of 510 table rails with all the hardware left over from when I upgraded my 510 to a 520. They are like brand new. I also have the fence if you want it so you can modify it however you want for the router table and still have a stock fence for the saw.

PM me and they are yours.

I have the 555658 router table (no rails and it mounts in the SPT holes), so if anyone wants to know more about it let me know. It is a decent router table for what it is and served me well for many years. When the 510 or 520 rail mounted "Pro" router tables came out I must have missed them. For several years I stopped getting Shopsmith mail correspondence and I don't know why because my address never changed. I would have liked to have tried either one of them. The nice thing with the 555658 router table is you can mount it off the end of the Mark V which is how I always used mine. The picture that Larry posted from Shopsmith (2005 catalog) makes no sense to me. I mean yes you can mount it over the waytubes, as in the picture, but if you have a taller/bigger router this could present a problem. I would be curious to know what issues the 520 "Pro" router table had when used with the 520 fence, or whatever issues people had with the "Pro" router table from Shopsmith. Just curious. I don't see them for sale too often, but you never know...

These are from the 2002 Master Catalog, page 39. Maybe this is when it was introduced, note the NEW tag. I only have the table, which I bought used, I haven't seen the router fence for sale in the wild. I can't tell if fence that comes with the table kit is a complete fence or only extrusions that would mount to my 520 fence (as stated in the description) My fence is gray so the black fence has me confused. I'm not looking to buy one, just curious about the colors. I looked at the manual above but none of my old catalogs have anything but the 520 table setup. I have a 1985 catalog showing the Mark V and introducing the New Mark V Pro, no model 510 designation needed yet I guess.

One of our members posted some better pics of the fence, an ebay find, recently. viewtopic.php?p=299863#p299863 It looks very nice to me and I'd buy one if I came across one before I come up with a better answer. But as you said, they're extremely rare so I don't see it happening. I like the ideas, especially dust collection and over/under table capable, but I'm a bit skeptical of attaching to the pro fence on the top.

515498 Universal Router Table Plate Insert
Regularly: $9.39 Sale Price: $4.70 -- You Save $4.69

Its on sale for half price. Can it be used as the router plate for a shop-built router table? And how "universal" is it...will it work with any router? So many questions, I know. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
To get back to original post, I received my order for the router plate and inserts. Hope this helps with dimensions.
