I finally got some projects finished last night (and added one new project). If you're interested, the plans are now available for the Blanket Chest and Grasshopper Pull-Toy, and I added a new set of plans for a Mission Style Mirror Frame. Enjoy...

Just added another set of plans, for a Shaker style Wall Clock. Simple, but nice looking.

Thank You Thank You Thank You for the grasshopper plans Tom. I was looking at that a couple weeks ago to build. But went with a tugboat toothbrush holder for now. GUESS what will be next.

Hi, Tom! Thank you for posting your plans on this forum! Your work is fantastic! The plans are straight forward enough for almost anyone to follow. Simple changes would be easy to add to these plans in order to individualize them. For example, if one wanted to make dados to hold the shelves on the Shaker Wall Clock, they could do so, and add the appropriate length to the shelves. Or if one wanted to use continuous (piano) hinges they would know just how to fit them.

Your pictures of the full items and parts identification is Wonderful!! I can't get over the fact you are offering these for free. Thank you again, very much!

The work you put into these plans is mind boggling to me. Wow! The size of the PDF for the blanket chest is huge! Don't know how you did the Library Stool with a smaller PDF than the Chest. There are so many more parts. Just part of your genius!

Charlie, thanks for the compliment. I'll have to check into the blanket chest file, I may have used a different PDF maker for that one. As far as the clock goes, I thought about dado joints, but they'd have to be blind joints as the shelves stop 1/4"ninch from the front. Same way with a rabbet joint for the back, it stops about 1/2" from the bottom of the side. I was planning on using biscuit joints fo this one.

Charlie, I regenerated the PDF with the "right" generator and it's now 80% smaller in size...

Just added 2 new set of plans last night. The first is a CD Holder (bookend style) that has a Dachshund head and rear-end for the decorations on the ends, with the stack of CD Jewel Boxes making up the body. It's in the MISC. section.

I also added a set of plans for an antique wooden ammo box with a sliding lid. The original was designed and built by the British for the 1863 Musket. It even has a copy of the label that was glued to the lid with shellac. Would make a nice small-item storage box or great for a reenactor. It's in the Shooting Accessories section.

WHEN; Do you SLEEP? I noticed your sketchup 'lessons' on wood tube. Now I will be losing sleep watching them!;)
