Finally finished my new workbench!

Post by adeptr »

I finally completed my new Hard Maple workbench. After a whole lot of dollars and over 100 hours, the bench is done. I could have spent less with a lesser expensive wood but I wanted to only do this one time. Turned out decent and boy is this thing heavy. I used a plan from Woodswmith Magazine, No. 173.

Very nice work. I only could dream of having a bench like that. The first scratch is the hardest to deal with when you make your own bench. But then when I did mine I now reflect back on the project that made the scratch and remember how nice it was to use the bench.
SS 500 upgraded to 510; SS bandsaw; SS jointer
