I'm playing with Sketchup and was wondering how to get small surface measurements to be readable. For instance, when dimensioning a 2" surface, the 2" is sandwiched between the lines and is unreadable unless I really zoom in on it. Is there a way to get the 2" to read outside the dimension lines?

Point at the text and right click. A drop down menu occurs. Select "Text Position". Three positions are displayed. The one that is checked is active. Select the one you want.
