I have a 1979 vintage Mark V. I am passing it down to my son who has inquisitive children. I read somewhere on the Shopsmith website that there is a plan for a latch that secures the Speed Dial knob of the Mark V and engages with the pad lock at the On/Off switch. The Shopsmith website has a verbal description with no pics and I could not follow it. I would like to make a version of this latch so my grandchildren will be unable to turn the Speed Dial. If anyone has crafted such a device, kindly post a plan or pics.
Many thanks,
