ER

Post by remoye »

New to the forum here. I inherited a Shopsmith from my wife’s uncle who passed away. The model is “ER”. Serial number is ER33099. Can anyone tell me it’s age, or the best place to see information on it. Anything would be appreciated.

remoye,

Welcome to the Shopsmith forum.

Your Shopsmith is actually a Model 10ER even though it only says ER on the Logo/Serial Number plate. Serial Number ER33099 having the ER prefix means it was made in the Eastern Plant and prior to April 1951. For more information on the Model 10's there is a thread here in the Community section I started that covers a lot of information titled "Shopsmith Model 10's What When and Where." It can be found at the link below.

I should have mentioned their other great threads about Model 10's here on the forum including restorations. The link below may be of interest to you and is a good reference. If you have specific questions, please feel free to ask.
