Recently moved and went to use my power station but the motor hums without actually turning. The belts appear intact. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

Allowing it to hum without turning (even for a short while) can do terminal damage to the motor,

I suggest getting into the hands of someone who knows motors.

First step for me is remove the motor belt and try again. Briefly, as Dusty says. The idea here is to isolate between an internal motor problem and a mechanical load problem. Alternatively, if it is reasonably easy to turn the spindle with your hand this also points to a motor problem.

Thanks for the suggestions. The spindle does turn easily so probably the motor. I was afraid the movers may have done something since they managed to shear the casters off the base. Gotta love moving….
