2024 Taxes

Post by twistsol »

Getting all the documentation electronically meant I had everything to file my taxes and since I had MLK day off from work, I did my payroll, corporate and personal taxes that day. Turbotax completed the final form I needed this morning and my taxes for 2024 are filed. I get to keep $170 of my federal refund but the rest goes to the state of Minnesota.
Thanks much,

Chris Phelps

I lived in Cottage Grove 4 years in 1997-2001. Nice place to live if you can ignore the politics and the cold weather. My first year I attended Dakota County Technical College in the Wood Finishing program. Worked for a Haworth furniture dealer repairing finishes. Moved back to Arkansas in 2001 and set up my own refinishing business.

Taxes are DONE. FINALLY Toughest year that I can recall and I can't figure why! Maybe it is just because I am getting too old for this.

Keeping $170 from your federal refund isn’t nothing… though Minnesota clearly had plans for the rest 😅 Did you end up owing the state from a previous year, or was it just higher than expected taxes this time around?
