I started working on a french cleat wall about a week ago so far making 3 storage solutions for it so i figured i would share what I've built and maybe add to this topic with new projects when i make them

1&2: clamp rack and corner clamp holder,
the corner clamp mount is very basic made of 2 short lengths of 2x2 screwed to a piece of osb, I used this youtube video as inspiration for my holder
the clamp rack is a little bit more complicated, it is made from 2 pieces of plywood and 3 pieces of 2x4, the outer 2x4s are cut to the same width as the front plywood and the middle one is cut an inch shorter to give clearance for the clamps to hang over the front, then the backing is screwed on to add some strength and a place to mount the rack, I basically just built a smaller version of the clamp rack in this video

3: saw blade and sanding disc storage
I made this using the dimensions in this topic (40deg angle, 3/8" wide slot, 3" spacing between slots) making some changes to use the scrap wood I had. I found that with an inside width of 8 3/4" I can cut the slots 2 inches shallower than the back of the panel which was easy to mark with a combination square. To make cutting and marking easier I screwed the 2 panels together so that I could cut them as one piece. I cut the slots with a handheld jigsaw which worked about as well as you'd expect (none of the the cuts were square) if I was remaking this I'd probably use a different tool, a router might work well. Due to a measurement error the bottom piece is shorter than it should but its not a big deal since i wasn't planning on putting anything there anyways. Only after assembling the whole thing did i realize that the conical discs need a wider slot so at some point i might widen the empty slot to fit it.

I built 2 more cleat tool holders since my last post,

t handle hex key set mount: in hindsight, i should've just drilled holes for the hex keys and ditched the sheet metal holder they came with, this is the simplest project yet being two thin pieces of wood screwed together and a cleat on the back for mounting

Hammers, Mallets, and Hatchet Holder: this was the first project i used cardboard to prototype before building the actual thing. after looking at some hammer holders online i had a good idea of what i wanted to build but procrastinated on building it for a few days because it was slightly ambitious so i decided to build it out of cardboard instead of sitting around not building it. The cardboard prototype seemed good so i measured the important dimensions and started drawing the shape of the side panels and making a cut list. I wasn't sure about how big to make the side panels so i made one out of cardboard to get an idea of how big it would be which led me to make it a few inches larger than i originally planned.

This design is made from five panels, two side panels, two strips, and a back stretcher. The side panels have the cleats cut into them to minimize the lumber needed and simplify the design. The two strips hold the tools and the back stretcher keeps the side panels parallel at the back. There are a few issues with this holder:

1. The strips are too close together requiring i rotate some of the tools to get them in and out if i rebuild this I'd make the gap between them 2-2.5 inches instead of 1.5

2. I cut the strips and stretcher 12 inches wide which wasn't wide enough to hold all my tools so the hatchet had to go on the side with an added holder

3. I cut the cleat wider than needed so the holder is angled down although my other cleat organizers are slanted as well because the cleats were cut slightly off 45deg

It looks to be working well for storage. Even thought it was an afterthought, having the Hatchet outside on the end of the main part does kind of create a safer place separated from the other tools.

I built another organizer, this time a holder for my 5" sandpaper and random orbit sander, the mount for the sander is inspired by the one in this video

The design can be split into 2 assemblies and a shared back panel,
the cabinet made up of 4 shelves, 2 sides, a top panel and a bottom panel
and the sander holder made up of a hook piece and 2 spacers
then these two assemblies are both glued and brad nailed to the back panel
i also added some trim to the top to keep the misc sandpaper from falling off
