Rust-oleum Hammered Finish Verde Green

Post by Gimima »

Hello all. Sorry to bring this up but I am going to try…
I am looking for one can of Rust-oleum Hammered Finish Verde Green. Perhaps there is someone out there who no longer has a need for it. Thank you for reading and for your time.

After Andrew get the main business of Shopsmith going,
I hope this is something he considers of getting touchup paint and spray can paint that matches.

I realize that Andrew has a lot on his plate right now.

I have been on the lookout for this also.
I found some on FB MP but was not the first come first serve person.
I did not get it. :(

There is one can on flea bay for $125.oo.

The Touch-up Paint Shopsmith sold for the Greenies and Goldies was not a hammered finish. If I remember correctly Shopsmith also discontinued selling the Greenie and Goldie paint. Verde Green is not that close of a match to the original Greenie color but was a popular substitute until Rust-oleum discontinued it. I have used Verde Green myself as seen on the Mark 5 below. I have been searching for what I feel is a good substitute green color for the Mark 5, Mark 2 and SPT's I have yet to restore. When the weather gets warmer, I will be trying some green paint with a Hammered Finish Clearcoat.

From the post it sounds like Gimima is in the middle of a restoration and needs some to finish. I have looked many times for Verde Green paint without success. It and the Oatmeal color Rust-oleum Hammered Finish paint, for the Goldies, is nowhere to be found since Rust-oleum discontinued both.
