Polishing Wheel

Polishing Wheel
Is there some way to attach a polishing wheel to the Mk 510? I though of using the saw arbor, but to my dismay found out the wheel was as thick as the length of the arbor.
I've had my second Shopsmith since 1981 and have hardly used it. Now that I have a dedicated shop, with all sorts of individual power tools, I'm cleaning up my unit and plan on making it an integral part of my woodworking.
In looked at the accessories, hoping Shopsmith would have a mandrel that would attach to the motor allowing me to use a polishing wheel.
Any help is most appreciated.
IF anyone is interested, here's link to photos of my shop. I contracted the building and did the inside myself. Still have a ways to go, but it's functional.

The Beall Buffing system has an adapter to mount on the 5/8 in spindle of the shopsmith. The adapter is available separately from the rest of the kit - might work for you.

Don Pencil has a full line of buffing and polishing accessories and all of them fit the Shopsmith. They are also made of very high quality materials in the US.

I've used the Beall buffing system for years. There is a shaft attachment that should fit the SS. However, I have found it more convenient to use a pool motor, and a foot switch, and have the unit mounted on the end of the work table. I tend to use it allot, so this at the ready setup works best for me.
