10 er Help

Post by nelsonlake81 »

I need help on just about all the basics to start. I got a 10 er about 4 days ago from my boss and it still works just fine. I used the lathe the day I got it and considering I had it on the wrong speed it cut just fine. The guy I got it from used the table saw a couple days after he got it (he got it two months ago)prior to that it was in a basement for about 20 years. when my boss got it I did some research about it and found some basic stuff about them but, I need some parts now that its mine. To start I need a headstock pulley part # 102 220 a set screw 3/8x16x1/2 part #p1000 and a tensioner part # 2281. none of these parts are a must have right away thing just would like to replace whats broke. I have already boke it all down cleaned and primed it yesterday. I was suprised on how little rust there was after i degreased it most of the tailstock was almost like new. Anyways I will be finishing up the panting and polishing in the next couple days so any help would be great. Almost forgot all tose part #'s are from the original owners manual
