This thread is the last of a series showing A method of reassembling a SS Caster Set.

The caster hole in the cam follower faces down(the top flat camming surface faces up).

The tie rod ends should be assembled into the same casting hole and oriented(rotational) so the spring pin holes line up(rod and casting) as before dis-assembly.

Apply lithuim grease(sparingly) to the posts of the casters and push them firmly into the cam follower. They will detent into place.
