Display cases for shot glasses -
I just completed 3 shot glass shooter cases for a friend of mine, thought you might like to see at least one of them. Made them out of cherry, the shopsmith as always helped me make perfect corners. FYI for those that don't know, a shooter glass is a 2 oz tall shot glass.

Nice job Doug. Is there a reason knot to put glass on the front? Future cases could be made so you could slide a sheet of glass down grooves in the sides.dwevans wrote:I just completed 3 shot glass shooter cases for a friend of mine, thought you might like to see at least one of them. Doug - Appreciated you showing us the shot glass cases. Can you tell us a bit more about joinery of the dividers? They look like egg crate joinery, but could be butt joints. Maybe you used a "kerfmaker"?

My thought was different than Tim's. I thought you had been checking all the shooters to make sure each one measured correctly.mickyd wrote:Your thinking just like a Californian, iiiifffff yyyoooouuuu kkkknnnnnooooowwww wwwwwhhhhaaatttt IIIII mmmeeeeaaaannnn.![]()

Don't try to make sense out of nonsense!

It is indeed egg crate joinery, but my kerf maker did not arrive in time, I did these the old fashioned way, I measured, prayed a bit and then cut them. I actually gang cut them with my dado blade so they were all the same.
