Help with year

I am looking at another shopsmith to join my two Greenies, 1954 and 1956. It's a listing with a poor picture. The machine is grey and the owner tells me the serial number is 27166. I looked at the shopsmith serial number listing and couldn't figure out where this one might fit in. Any ideas?
I haved asked for better pictures.

Dec 1977 / Jan 1978 I goofed, this should read Dec 1978 / Jan 1979!!!
I went to the faq under Mark V to link you to the year/sn chart, but it is not currently there.

Shouldn't that be Dec 1978 / Jan 1979? Did not see anything between Dec 1961 and Jan 1978.

I goofed, the serial number i was given is 271666 not 27166, would that make it a 1954 re-painted grey?

It looks like it was made in June or July of 1954, according to the table at the bottom of the page on the following link:

The owner of the shopsmith sent me some pictures, it must be a greenie painted grey, can't think of any other explanation. The tag indicates a 3/4 HP motor and the serial number indicates 1954. Can anyone identify the accessories in one of the photos? Or have another idea on this? I have two 3/4 hp shopsmiths so I will probably pass on this one.

You might want to drop the motor and check out what is really inside. You
may be able to see the motor name plate through the medallion hole. It may be 1 1/8 hp!
I do not think the sn plate is the 'original'!
The main table looks like a later version. That would explain the color!
The belt cover is from a later model.
The black thing is a mortise bit holder. The loopy things may be a part of a hold down. Neither are ss origin. The bit holder may be 3/4" not 5/8".
I doubt the 'extra' miter gauge will fit the table slots.
A drill chuck.

Here are a couple of pictures from my 1980 Gray. The Grays have prominent warning labels.
Here is one from my 1955 Greenie.
Note the difference in the red knob for lifting the saw table (and also on the quill). The Greenies have more of a knob than the Grays. Also the Greenies have a very small (about 2 inches square) warning not to turn the speed control knob unless the motor is running.
Here is another from my Greenie.
Don't know if this helps or makes it even more confusing.
