That is a really nice setup. Your table top is massive by comparison to mine and I have always thought mine was quite adequate.
However, you have everything mounted on the opposite end of the Mark V (from where I mount mine when I mount on the Mark V). As a result, I have to sit and think about where I would stand. Especially when routing with a fence involved. I have launched a work piece or two and I think that can be as dangerous as "kickback".
Is the vertical section of PVC part of the dust collection system?

If it hits you, it'll certainly feel like "kickback". The only possible difference that I can see is that some kickback comes up off the table and then back at you. I would think that most router kickback fires back at table top height.
