



This marks two firsts for me: the first project I've posted here on the forum, and the first one that I've designed myself (not built from a plan)
I know a lot of people don't like the router attachment due to the inadequate speed issue, but I used it to cut the mortises in the top of the table legs on this project without any trouble at all. A couple of featherboards, a sharp bit and several ~1/8" deep passes did the trick.
Table is solid walnut that I bought green and rough sawn 2 years ago, and the edge band is cherry. Finish is nothing but clear sanding sealer and clear poly.
Bonus points if you can identify the tasty adult beverage that I was enjoying after getting the table to its final destination. he he he
