mounting a 7" grindstone on a SS

In a thread about adding a drill sharpener to the SS, I show a base made of wood. I also wanted to make use of several 7" diameter grind stones that I have. The wood base can also support a Lee Valley work rest. To install the grind stone shield, I started with the drawing in PTWFE of the buffer shield and modified it to give access to the set screw of the universal arbor I used to mount the stone. The shield is about 8" in diameter. The shield is screwed to pieces cut from a 2x6 and 1/2" plywood and mounts to the quill. It can be rotated to expose more or less of the stone. Please see attached photos.
