Threads being Moved

Post by dusty »

I notice that several threads have recently been moved. Would anyone like to tell us what the objective is? Maybe we can put them where they belong and it won't be necessary for Admin to move them.

I think we all need a refresher course on what is intended for the various categories. Looking at where Admin relocated these threads does not make it perfectly clear, at least not to me.

Moved Threads

Post by admin »

The threads that were moved were not relevant to the forum they were posted in. Many threads in the "Woodworking Tool Review" forum were moved to either "General Woodworking" or "Beginning Woodworking" due to not having anything to do with a specific tool or opinion on a tool.

Some threads in the 2 woodworking forums which were basically opinions about specific tools were moved into the tool review forum.

Threads are rarely re-located on this forum and we are not extremely picky about which forums threads should be posted, however keeping it somewhat organized makes it easier to find relevant information on the different topics.

Admin,
Thank you. I too had noticed that threads were not being posted in the right place. I agree that it will be easier to find them now.
