Mark V 500 Carriage Assembly

Post by gbpaco »

Using lathe and Mark V 500 carriage assembly CRACKED. I now need to replace the carriage assembly. Anybody able to just get the 510 carriage assembly on the 500 without having to purchase the total 500 to 510 upgrade kit?

The 510 carriages as well as 500 carriages are on Ebay all the time. In fact I have quite a few that I need to list. But, the 510 carriage will not be compatible with your 500 worktable. So then you start getting into how far you want to upgrade....505.....510.....520. If you have any questions about any of these parts you can email me.

Are you referring to the carriage that the table saw would be piercing through? If so, I may have one to get rid of. I think it was from a Greenie, and it was cracked and repaired (welded), but works fine. Let me know if I can help. I'll send photos of it if you want.

Good news! I've just won the bid on ebay for a carriage assembly. In about a week I should be back up and running!

Thanks for inputs and support.
