Mystery Parts

Anyone know what this is? The set screws are 5/32. the two pieces were bolted together in the box of misc parts.

The last items if stainless steel(questionable) might be medical. edit-ignore this, I just noticed the patent link. :>{{
Is the x shaped thing jointed. If not are the intersections square?
BTW What is a 5/32 screw??? 10-32 maybe???
Anybody recognize a 247 Model 10E subassembly id#?

the x shaped thing is a machinist's v-block. got one just like it.

The intersections are square.

The rectangular bar with the channel running down the center and an oddly shaped hole in the top is a jig used to mount the saw blade to the lower blade holder on older model RBI scrollsaws.

The screws are probably 5/16-18 then. Those parts are larger than I initially perceived! Still no clue!
