Does anyone out there have one of these? If so, do you like it?

I'd rather wear a face shield http://www.shopsmith.com/ownersite/cata ... shield.htm

Mind you, when you want to blow some dust off your work, blowing through the face shield doesn't work :p (don't ask me how I know that)

Hah!! I had to laugh at that. After peering through a face shield for some time that had an accumulation of scratches, splashes, etc., I finally got a new one. It is so much clearer I found myself trying to blow dust off the workpiece a couple of times. DOH!

Luckily I didn't sneeze.

Shields

I had a lathe with one before getting the SS and I tried it out. It came off and went into the rafters and has been there ever since. I use a full face shield and that's worked well for me.
