Let's all do this
This is a cut and past post from another forum. Hope y'all can find the time to send a card.
I just did:
XEROX IS DOING SOMETHING COOL
If you go to this web site, http://www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! It is FREE and it only takes a second.

For the born skeptics (like me)
I checked this out at Snopes and it comes up as fully valid. Here is the link if you want to read about it there:

yea me too
When I was in Desert Storm we used to get "care packages" all the time and on the two Christmas's I was there we got tons of cards from well wishers. It was a very good feeling.
There are many organizations that have similar projects to support the morale of our Armed Forces that are away from home during the holidays. I can't even describe how nice it was to have the cards and letters to hang. They were the only holiday decorations we were allowed to have because they were 'justified' as letters and not Christmas decorations. The local customs would not permit religious displays.
So I wished a Merry Christmas to some random military member and now I wish everyone on the shopsmith.net/forums a Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year.
Stay safe everyone

I just did it and also re-posted to a camping related forum I frequent. What a great idea. Thanks for posting the link.
