using an E for a joiner

I have a rebuilt 10er, and have the joiner fence. I cannot find any pics of the proper set up, to use this as a joiner.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Terry,
The fence needs some additions.
The setup for the joiner 10e/er is vastly different than the Mark V. As I recall, the way tube bracket on the motor pulley end of the 10 er is replaced with one that comes with the joiner. The joiner bed is hung from the bracket. The headstock is then slid close to the new bracket. The joiner can then be swung up and is held in place by the belt that is on the joiner and motor pulley. Your fence then goes on the joiner bed.
I think you need more pieces........

There was 2 different joiners made for the 10E/10ER. The above describes the later version which looks very similar to the MK V joiner and many of the Mark V joiner parts can be used on this later model.
I would believe you may have the earlier 2 1/2" joiner that has the cutter head attached to the quill. A picture of the fence would help determine which joiner you have.
