Thank's ss as drillpress

Post by rustysaw »

Thank's to Dusty and others I was able to find out about the ss
saw dust session #24.It gave me the insite to remove quill and depth
stop on my mark v. the quill was frozen and I had to spray it often
and use a channel lock to remove it.the quill and gears on the depth
stop looked like new. I used johnson paste wax and reinstalled them.
The only thing I saw was the ear's and round opening the quill slides through
was a little rough,I cleaned them up, but I still feel a little rubbing as
the quill goes in and out. Any I was able to save it from junk pile.
question,I am missing the flat washer on the depth stop, anyone can tell size
of washer so I don't have to order just one from shopsmith.
Thank.s again
