Mirror frames

This is one of four.
Oak and walnut w/ turquoise inlay.
Frame cut out with the over arm pin router.
Inlay cavity was scroll sawn in 1/8" walnut.
4 applications of BLO, mineral spirits and poly mixture.
Final step will be Carnuba wax.

This is one of two. Same as above.
Awaiting coat hooks either side of the mirror.
The pot holder is sized for an 8" flower pot.

Thanks guys!
I think I figured out how to get an inlay strip to border the mirror opening. That's for the next ones, though.

Nice looking frames Gene! Definitely post a picture of your next one with the inlay strip around mirror.

No reason. If there was when I made the template, I can't remember it now.

When I made a couple of mirrored oil lamp holders the "pot holders" had an open front so the lamp could be slid in the front. If a Pot had a narrow lower neck with a splayed base (skirt), this is the only way to put the pot in the holder.
