FYI

I have just recently ordered some wrenches from Amazon. I got 3 of them for $11.97, no tax, free shipping but a different brand. These are the same ones I have gotten from shopsmith in the past, Eklind Tool (51910).

I believe that I bought this one on one of my trips to the factory store (I loved going there, bought a lot of small stuff there most of it on specials).
One of the things I like about it is that if I feel like something would benefit from a very gentle tap I can use it like a very soft mallet. The handle part is quite heavy. This is an older picture taken to show the speaker magnet but the handle still says "Shopsmith" in white on the back side.

I'm not inclined to use a ball headed hex wrench on my Shopsmith. They work well if you have to get into the socket of the set screw at an angle, but that really isn't the case on the Shopsmith. And, you can't apply as much torque with a ball head. I prefer the old style "L" shaped version, especially when the set screw was tightened a bit too much.

I too have a couple of the wrenches you pictured. Since I've never been to the factory store I'd say they were once in the catalog. I checked today and did not see them anymore. In fact is was hard to find the this one:

The three I'm familiar with are these:

That's much more like what they should cost
Snap-On is a bit of a rip-off.
I've paid my dues, I can say that.
