Wind chimes?

Post by robinson46176 »

In my ever increasing absent mindedness I am not sure if I ever mentioned this or not...
One day I was moving some of my SS "inventory" around and happened to bang one of the extra tubes. A first I just said to myself "good steel". Then I grabbed a piece of twine and looped around one end of a tube and held it up clear of everything and tapped it with a pair of pliers I had in my hip pocket.
You would not believe what clear bell like tones came from that tube... If my wife ever heard that they would be hanging in a tree bonging in the wind. :D
