I can't think of any good coming from packed sawdust in the Bench and Way Tubes that had accumulated in the current rehab project. It was packed too hard to be cleared by shop vac and seemed like a clog of 4 - 6" length. Fortunately, this MK 5 was in a dry garage.

I thought that a one gallon milk bottle cap would fit in the tube. No joy. By cutting slits in the side of the bottle cap, it would fit.

# slits ----- Reward
4 ----- Rest of milk, in bottle, no beer
3 ----- 2 oz beer
2 ----- 4 oz beer, quit for the day.
1 ----- TBD
0 ----- Scraped knuckles, pinched fingers, all beer in the garage


Only suggestion is to avoid cutting into the top, cut slit in the side of the bottle cap only. [ATTACH]14516[/ATTACH]

Caps used are marked "PORTOLA 358-CP05-68" , inside the cap.

I like that! Now if there were not 3 different sized tubes!

Sawdust in the tube is not something I worry about much but if I were I would likely grab a can of high expansion foam insulation and just fill them. Heck it might even make the machine quieter.

Just upgrade to a double tilt setup...then you no-longer have to worry about it.
