Will casters for a Mark V work on a 10 ER? I am still learning about SS. Any Help would be appreciated!

The casters are different. I did find a 10er a while back that had MK5 casters on it. Because the legs are different, you have to make an adapter, but it can be done.

The M5/V casters are designed to be installed on a slanting leg and is held in place by two screws and a groove that accepts a bent over edge of the leg(Mx or stand).

The 10E/R does not have legs per se, but most do have the vertical legs that were an option(ya got two 2x6 and made yer own bench). The 10E/R casters were designed to attach to the inside vertical surface of those legs.

However some folks have overcome those differences(both ways) by fabricating adapter brackets.

This is the adapter measurements I have used. I purchase scrap/left-over aluminum "L" shape 2"X4" or close material so I do not have to bend anything. You can normally get the seller to cut it into 4 pieces the length/height you need. I leave my brackets square (round the edges with a file), no angles to cut then. The casters works well for moving heavy work benchs and work tables too. I scale a paper template for drilling the holes for the correct angle.

My project 10ER came without casters. As a quick cheap way to get the project moving around the shop, I bought a $9.99 mover's dolly from Harbor Freight. Dismantled, the two long legs are the exact length of the 10ER bottoms. I plan to use the two factory holes in the bottom of the legs to attach the new shoes. I'll photograph it when I get it together. I'm concerned about tippiness because I'm raising the center of gravity. We'll see how it goes.

Also, I am of course losing the locking function with this setup. Definitely an imperfect, temporary fix against the day I stumble upon some casters.

Thanks for all the info. I do have carters on my SS but I think they are the original ones. I can move it around , but it tajes quite an effort.
