I have been working to design a base cabinet for my long overdue permanent OPR workstation using Sketchup and happened to take a look at the Google 3D warehouse. I was amazed at how much it has grown and what you can find with a little searching.
For example searching the keyword "workshop" in collections will get you this.
Searching "Shopsmith" in models gets you this.
Need to add some casters to make your cabinet mobile, then go here.
It seems that you can find models for most anything now. By utilizing this resource you can probably save a lot of modeling time. You can download these models directly into Sketchup for free and then view or change to suit your needs.
If you are a Sketchup user it might be worthwhile to take a look.
Underutilized resource for Sketchup users
