Whew, I couldn't get the DVD to go in either my Macbook or my wife's PC. But I tried the Mac again and was successful.
I have a C headstock. In Figure 6d of the Power Pro instruction manual, it doesn't show nor is anything mentioned about a tiny spring assembly on the headstock at the 12 o'clock position. Sorry about the pic quality of the close up.
I included a pic of the parts I removed & laid them out as they are essentially in the headstock as my wife wanted to know what I was doing & she doesn't speak technicalese....<smile>
So I'm getting ready to do the drilling. I wish I had ordered a new switch as this is my first C-type headstock and plastic is well....plastic.

Keep that spring with the speed control parts(it is allegedly an anti-rattle spring) but replaces a different function in early greenies). It does prevent rattle!backhertz wrote:Whew, I couldn't get the DVD to go in either my Macbook or my wife's PC. But I tried the Mac again and was successful.

At least it may be 'safe' there awaiting you having a need for it.backhertz wrote:Ah shucks! I think I left it under the new control panel of the Power Pro! lol Well, my control panel won't rattle!
Gotta wonder where the springs for those three headstocks disassembled are?
