I have an Early Pre Patent Model ER Shop Smith that is complete and working but needs restoration. I need to sell it and am wondering what it is worth the serial number is ER 40479 if that helps. I had plans on restoring it but need to sell it now and have know idea what its worth or what year it is ...

This probably sounds like a dumb question, but how do you adjust the speed on th 10 ER? There are three pulleys on the motor and head stock that is my guess but what one of those three pulleys are high speed? I want to use my drill press for cutting metal.

I need to replace the belt on my 10ER, can I use an automotive belt? If so, does anyone have a recommendation, i.e. Ford, Chevy, Dodge etc. Also what P/N? or does anyone have just like a Napa P/N or something that will work?
