Re: Power Pro Gen 2 -- now with typos!
My take on funky English/spelling is inexcusable since a serious review of the product will reveal all(assuming the reviewer is functionally literate with the language(and the intended purpose of the product)).

Re: Emerson 1 1/8 hp start switch
One can always add a manually operated external switch. Not recommended but it is a work around.

While we be on the subject of set screws, do be aware that cup tip and serrated cup screws are to be avoided. Flat or oval tip are the proper choice.

Re: 10ER motor spins both ways
I be guessing here (this is a most unusual experience) 1) the motor has a natural tendency to start in one direction when the start circuit is ineffective.(a logical conclusion given the problem) 2) that natural tendency reverses occasionally due to factor(s) unknown. 3) by placing the motor in rota...

An adapter sleeve works IF one includes a notch for the set screw to fully contact the bit shank. BTDT A bronze bushing bearing seems to have close enough dimensions.

Re: Wax tip.
What is needed is carnauba wax. As for scent, that comes from whatever solvents are used. A simpler replacement is paste finishing wax(minwax) JPW was a paste FLOOR wax. Original was slippery so later floor waxes were 'de slipperyiezed'. From looking at the ingredients I would not recommend Jubilee.

Re: Motor Re-Wire to reverse spin
The start circuit consists of the start winding in series with the start switch and start capacitor. The ends of that series circuit attaches to the run windings and power cord. Reversing the start circuit end connections will cause the motor to run in the opposite direction. However there appears t...
