Hey Boys and Girls...
This thread has dealt with going from a 500 to a 520, I just got my upgrade kit to change my 510 to a 520, I'm hoping this is easier done than the 500/520 process.

Also, I'm sure there's a thread for Table Saw Blades, Types, Sizes, Arbor Issues, Etc..but got a little tid bit ...

Good point...I'm not shipping it, I'm receiving it, so I will ask the "shipper" if they can break it down for me prior to shipping. Thanks - I've heard these are around 80lbs, does that sound about right?

Hey Guys...I just purchased this, do you suggest I buy anything else to make the job better? IE: 5' Extension Tubes? I'm getting mixed messages judging from the reply's to previous posts....also, extension table? This is my order:

Thanks, It's one of the least expensive specialty tools, so I'll pr'y just buy it new, I just take pride in the fact that so far I've been able to find all of my SS tools, etc on garage sales, craigslists and auctions, but it's pr'y about time I buy something direct anyway.

I am looking for a used strip sander to buy, I do have an old greenie I don't used, i could be persuaded to trade for one in really good condition. My Greenie is in fair condition....but I'd like to just buy one for about $100 or $125.

I'm not sure if it's frowned upon on here to discuss buying ...

I've acquired some shopsmith parts of late and was wondering, I have three jacobs chucks, two have allen head set screws and one has a standard or straight screw for the set screw, did shopsmith ever use anything but the allen head set screws in their chucks?

myself and my dad buy virtually all of our lumber at auctions. I'm an auctioneer, so I have an inside track, but we advertise as do other auction companies...

I like aged lumber to work with, so this works well for me. I'd check your State Auctioneers Assocation website for auctioneers in your area ...
