Alright.. So I switched it for this one:

I know it is not the one from shopsmith.. but JPG did mention 3 in 1 as a viable option.. I am itching to start using this thing.. but I can't until I service it. Also, the person I bought it from is jerking ...

I know this is a no no... but it was done.. only once. How can I tell if any damage has been done? and what kind of damage can be done?
It still turns on... runs and changes speed it is a 1998 model that has barely been used, and I am just starting to get into it (Just bought it off craigslist ...

This is the one I bought... I hope this is fine. I have not used it yet.. still waiting on the manual. It seemed good, but I can switch it for the basic 3 in 1 if its a problem.
